this totally goes against my desires. i want certain kinds of permanence, stability, dependability, something good and beautiful to last forever, efforts to have a point, things to make sense. but this isn’t about that. this is about understanding that everything changes. and letting go.

i’m not sure i can get to that point. i don’t agree with it at this point. and maybe it is not everyones lesson, to be fair. but i am pondering the balance between the two perspectives. somewhere in the middle, in the balance, when yin and yang are in harmony, that is what i seek. neither stagnation or futility. balance. the place of harmony.
